By booking and attending services with Heart Works Counselling Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Services Provided

Heart Works Counselling Services offers psychological services to adults through in-person sessions in Okotoks, Alberta, and virtual sessions within Alberta. Services are provided by a Registered Psychologist.

Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Fees and Payment

Fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Direct billing may be available for select insurance providers. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage with their insurer.

Direct Billing

Direct billing is offered as a convenience and is subject to insurance provider approval. If a claim is denied, the client remains responsible for payment.

Communication

Email and phone communication are intended for scheduling and administrative purposes only. These methods are not suitable for crisis support.

Virtual Sessions

Virtual sessions require a private, secure space and a reliable internet connection. While reasonable efforts are made to protect confidentiality, virtual communication carries inherent risks.

Right to Refuse or End Services

Heart Works Counselling Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if they are not clinically appropriate or if therapeutic boundaries are not respected.
