Hello, I’m Lauren.
I’m so glad you found your way here.
I know finding the right therapist can feel like a big step. My hope is that this space helps you get a sense of who I am and what it might feel like to work together. Therapy is deeply personal, and you deserve to feel safe, supported, and understood every step of the way.
I can’t wait to help you reconnect with yourself.
Whether you’ve spent years doing inner work and still feel disconnected from yourself, or you’re coming to therapy for the first time, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy with insight and awareness, yet something deeper remains out of reach. My approach focuses on helping you slow down, feel safe in your body, and understand what’s been shaping your reactions and patterns. From there, real change becomes possible; change that helps you move forward feeling more grounded, confident, and aligned in your life.
Who I am
Here’s a little bit about me.
I’m a Registered Psychologist with a calm, down-to-earth style that prioritizes emotional safety, collaboration, and trust.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, my role is to support and guide, not direct or push.
I’m especially passionate about trauma-informed and nervous-system-based work that leads to lasting change.
I value authenticity, autonomy, and helping people reconnect with who they truly are beneath old patterns and survival strategies.
Who you are
If you’re looking for therapy that goes beyond surface-level insight, we might be a great fit. You’re probably:
Committed to your healing, even if progress has felt slower than you hoped
Ready for an approach that actually creates change, not just coping
Curious about understanding yourself at a deeper level
Wanting to live in a way that feels more aligned, grounded, and true to who you are
My Story
My journey into this work began with a deep interest in understanding how people heal and grow, both individually and in their relationships. I’ve always been drawn to work that helps people reconnect with themselves and move through life with more clarity and confidence.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan before moving to Alberta in 2008. I later earned my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and began my private practice supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges.
Over time, I was drawn to approaches that support deeper healing, especially trauma-informed and nervous-system-based work. Today, I feel grateful to support adults who are ready for meaningful change and want therapy that respects their pace, autonomy, and inner wisdom.

My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth and transparent. I see you as the expert in your own life, bringing your lived experience and the strengths you’ve developed over time. Together, we will explore your experiences and concerns, and I will offer relevant information to support you in making informed decisions about the treatment approach that feels right for you. While it may sound clichéd, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. What we work on and how we go work should align with you and your belief system. If it doesn’t, we will adapt and find an approach that does.

I integrate multiple evidence-based approaches depending on your needs, goals, and readiness, including:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Polyvagal Informed and trauma-focused approaches
Mindfulness-based practices
Person-Centered and Solution-Focused Therapy
This blended approach allows therapy to remain flexible, responsive, and focused on creating lasting results.
